It's the best replacement strap for sport/outdoor watches I've found; it's far better than the original rubber or rough nylon straps I've had. I've had one on a watch worn almost daily for about nine years now and it's still going strong despite salt water scuba diving, being submerged in chlorinated swimming pools, mud and snow, and inundated with sweat and occasional engine oil and grease. It cleans up with soap and water and dries reasonably quickly.
The watch itself attaches with its original pins through an elasticized bit about 16mm wide. The main part of the strap runs beneath it to keep the watch (a normal sized sports watch like a G-Shock anyway, not those huge stupid looking wannabe Navy SEAL watches) off your wrist. The strap loops through a hard nylon D-ring and has an inch and a half of Velcro (underneath the tag that says "Sport Strap") to secure it against the soft part of the Velcro (4 1/2 inches worth; the watch strap adjusts from 7 1/2 to 9 inches wrist circumference). It holds up to rough work and has never come loose on me, nor has my watch ever come free from the band.
I'm ordering a second one for another watch.
