It's not true. I REALLY LOVED MY WATCH...*HOWEVER*... it has only lasted me 3yrs. I am hard on my watches. I wear them doing dishes- by hand, while cleaning in buckets of water, in the shower... I have changed the battery several occasions already.
It had everything I wanted; the date, a light and glow in the dark hands, and it was durable and water proof. I didn't need some expensive digital watch.
I am truely disapointed the watch only lasted me 3yrs.
