For example, it'll say NNW instead of NW, but it is good enough to tell you which direction a street is going, which is what I wanted it for. Unfortunately, the watch band gave me a rash. I've never gotten a rash from a watch band before in my whole life! But I wear the watch anyway, just not all the time.
