You can set an alarm to go off at 3pm every Thursday and another one for 8am on weekdays and another one for 11am on weekends. Not a feature I necessarily need, but it's kinda fun. Also, this watch has 2 easy to set interval timers that repeat for workouts. The alarm sound on the interval timers is short and pleasant. The watch itself is pretty - white, light blue and gray. The colors in the picture here are off a bit - I went to zappos.com to see multiple views of the watch before purchasing it at amazon because of a better price. The band is elastic - no velcro. You just pull it on your wrist. The plastic front part is a bit too long for my wrist, so it fits a little awkwardly, and it's hard to adjust the strap while you're wearing it. I think it might break-in over time though. That's the only reason I gave the watch 4 stars instead of 5. Overall it's a great watch, and despite the somewhat awkward band, I still prefer it to a plastic band that could easily break. Once you get the strap adjusted correctly, it fits really tight and doesn't move around on your wrist which is nice when running. I definitely recommend this watch.
