(More customer reviews)This watch has one color for the big hour hand and the corresponding hour numbers around the watch dial, and a different color for the big minute hand and the minute numbers around the watch dial. Our 6 year old grandaughter was able to give us the correct time immediately using this watch. What a wonderful teaching tool, and she was so proud of her ability to tell time. The velcro wrist band was also so easy for young fingers to use.

(More customer reviews)This is a great watch for kids learning to tell time. The pink hour hand points to the pink numbers for the hour and the purple minute hands points to the purple numbers for the minutes (5, 10, 15, 20,...). The fact that the hands match the coresponding numbers is a huge bonus. The band is easy to get on and off and my daughters says it is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the band seems to be stretching out a little but I guess that is to be expected. Overall, I'm very pleased with the watch.

(More customer reviews)This is a very nice watch, but it does have some disappointing feautres. The biggest problem is that the hash marks between the numbers and the small secondary numbers (i.e., 10, 25, 35 ...) are so small one can barely read them, so it'shard to tech my 5-yr old how to tell the time correctly, as far as a "teaching" watch goes. The second is that the wrist strap is elasticized, but has a cinch-tight metal loop mechanism that works on the underside, so it'shard for my 5-year old to tighten and loosen the strap properly - a more traditional buckle or other type of mechanism would work better. The third is that this watch has an INDIGLO feature, but it is much more dim than other TIMEX INDIGLO lights, and it's still hard to see the numbers when lit up - and the glo is purple, as are the numbers. My son has a sports ball version of this watch, which INDIGLOs in a bright yellow-green and really lights up and is easy to read. My little girl is disappointed in the dimness. However, the watch is nice and does what it says it will do.
