(More customer reviews)This watch has one color for the big hour hand and the corresponding hour numbers around the watch dial, and a different color for the big minute hand and the minute numbers around the watch dial. Our 6 year old grandaughter was able to give us the correct time immediately using this watch. What a wonderful teaching tool, and she was so proud of her ability to tell time. The velcro wrist band was also so easy for young fingers to use.

(More customer reviews)Bought this watch for daughter for Christmas. Got it for her to use when running to be able to track herself when not on a timed run.
The watch is good looking (she loves purple) and functional. The buttons are a little small for my large fingers, but she seems to have no problems. The band is rubber/plastic and should hold up well and she said is comfortable.
I was looking for an inexpensive watch for her with a stop watch function and was water/sweat proof. This seems to fit the bill. Timex makes more expensive watches if you need more functions. But would recommend this for a basic sport watch or for beginners.

(More customer reviews)I bought this watch for my 5 yr old and though it works just fine, the watchband is WAY too big for him. Fortunately, I am handy with a sewing machine and was able to take a pinch in the band, but it makes it bulky and uncomfortable. Therefore, he only wears it in bed so that he can play with the indiglo feature in the dark. As soon as he gets up in the morning, though, he takes it off.

(More customer reviews)This is a great watch for kids learning to tell time. The pink hour hand points to the pink numbers for the hour and the purple minute hands points to the purple numbers for the minutes (5, 10, 15, 20,...). The fact that the hands match the coresponding numbers is a huge bonus. The band is easy to get on and off and my daughters says it is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the band seems to be stretching out a little but I guess that is to be expected. Overall, I'm very pleased with the watch.

Timex Kids' T77261 My First Timex Light Blue Strap Watch Review

(More customer reviews)My 5yo and 6yo daughters asked for a "real watch" after they each received an analog watch for Christmas last year, neither of which kept the correct time. We purchased this watch (and the one in pink) after reading the reviews and our own experience with the Timex brand. This watch has more than exceeded their (and our) expectations. The soft-buttery leather strap fits nicely around their wrists - it is not too big (they can wear it on the tightest fitting). The watch face is large enough for them to read the time, altho' as young girls it doesn't appear to be too big in proportion to their body. As well, second-hand has helped them learn more about time. The Indiglo Light is a bonus for fun, altho' now they insist on wearing their watches to bed (even tho' they each have a digital alarm clock). As well, the water-resistant feature is a plus because they still like to get messy and clean up on their own. This is a great watch at an excellent price that I expect they will own for some time and will grow with each of them into their 'tween years.

I wondered if the band would hold up to wear and tear. It has held up well showing little wear or dirt.
I bought it in blue and it matches many colors surprisingly well. It keeps perfect time, the alarm is reliable and I get compliments on how it looks. It is not like the usual alarm sport watch that is bulky and ugly.
I have even forgotten to change it and even had it on with dress clothes. Any other sport watch I would have taken off and hidden away but I wore this one anyway.
This watch is a great bargain.

The strap is elastic and adjustable - my only complaint is that it doesn't stay in the position you set it, so the strap size changes everytime you pull on it. Other than that - a great product!

(More customer reviews)My daugther loved this watch. Initially, she wanted the very expensive Flik Flak by Swatch. Luckily, I found this alternative, which she preferred, for les than half the price! This watch has a very bright light (INDIGLO) when you press the crown.
My only complain is that the elastic band is too long. I had to adjust it for my 7 year old and there is too much "extra" band. Not a big deal.
The watch comes with a $10 replacement warranty in case that the watch is lost.
