(More customer reviews)This watch has one color for the big hour hand and the corresponding hour numbers around the watch dial, and a different color for the big minute hand and the minute numbers around the watch dial. Our 6 year old grandaughter was able to give us the correct time immediately using this watch. What a wonderful teaching tool, and she was so proud of her ability to tell time. The velcro wrist band was also so easy for young fingers to use.

(More customer reviews)This watch is a good choice for kid girls as a gift. Very impressive when I first looked at it. The second hand is moving cutely as the ladybug there. The size of this watch is smaller than I expected, feeling like a beautiful toy. The advantage and disadvantage is the the same, the band is made of cloth. It might feel comfort but easy get to dirty and sweat for young kids.

(More customer reviews)This is a great watch for kids learning to tell time. The pink hour hand points to the pink numbers for the hour and the purple minute hands points to the purple numbers for the minutes (5, 10, 15, 20,...). The fact that the hands match the coresponding numbers is a huge bonus. The band is easy to get on and off and my daughters says it is very comfortable. My only complaint is that the band seems to be stretching out a little but I guess that is to be expected. Overall, I'm very pleased with the watch.

(More customer reviews)I have had this watch for several years now. I am a very active grown women. This watch is perfect for a small wrist-ed (about 6") women. I have only changed the battery once. I have swum in the Gulf of Mexico, did 30ft+ drops into the bayou with it, gardening, hiking, camping, etc. It's very tough, and the band has held up wonderfully, only starting to show its age this last year. Recently it has begun losing minutes every night. After searching the stores and online for a replacement watch I was sooo happy to be able to find the same watch on Amazon. It's definitely not just for kids!

(More customer reviews)We purchased the Timex Children's Heart and Butterfly watch for our 5 year old daughter for Christmas. For a watch claiming to help children learn to tell time, the face and numbers are quite small and hard to see. The face is plastic, which became scratched the first time she wore it. Which leads me to the clasp...there is no way to adjust this watch for a small wrist. It is way too big for a 5 year old, and I had to sew it together to make it fit her wrist. The cheap metal clasp does not adjust....so keep that in mind!
I would not recommend this product.

The Timex T89042 Youth watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. This quartz analog watch features an easily readable, full Arabic numeral display and smaller 5-minute notations on the outside of the dial.
