(More customer reviews)I own three Omegas, two Citizens and three Seikos, but the little Casio Forester is the watch that goes with me into harm's way. I work in very severe conditions--in the Middle East. You don't want to expose a fine mechanical or even quartz watch to daily dust baths and searing desert heat. The little Casio has held up through the worst of conditions, and still keeps time to within 15 seconds a month of the atomic clock in Colorado. It's highly water resistant, and so light you hardly know it's on your wrist. Amazon sells this watch under $20. How can you complain about a rugged, accurate watch for under $20? I usually wear an Omega when going "out on the town," but the Casio is my watch for the dust storms and being around things that could knock your expensive watch silly. My expensive watches will last much longer because I have sense enough not to wear them to work!

I thought I was buying a new watch but it was either a return or used because it didn't come with an owners manual and it appeared that the battary was dead. It turns out that it had loose connections. It now works after taking to two seperate places to have it looked at. I should have just returned it but I misplaced the return slip so I ended up having it fixed instead.

This watch is unbelievably cute, and I adore Timex watches in this style - you can beat them to death and they keep going, great functionality, etc. However, within only a couple of weeks the pink rubber on this watch had noticeably started to turn yellow. I may call Timex about it, but I'm not sure I can find the paperwork...maybe I should buy another one to see how well it wears.
I'm going to keep this one and wear it out in the yard and whatever, but the yellowed tone will probably stop me from wearing it on any fashion-related occasions. ;)

(More customer reviews)So far this watch has worked out well for me. Its simple, easy to use and comfortable. I did not really need the directions to program the watch itself, but I do not use some of its more fancy alarm and lap meter functions. The watch itself is easy to read and the indiglo is also easy to read at night. I have not yet taken the watch into the water but I expect it to hold up well.
So far the watch is a pretty good watch but nothing overly exceptional either.

(More customer reviews)I have had ironman watches for many years. The past three or so (the ones made with the resin band) have fallen apart on me. The band pulled away entirely from the watch face. I was looking for something that will withstand my exercise and showering. I think I found it. At first, I thought it was a strange design.. the closure is more like a dress watch. Part of the band is titanium and wasn't the most comfortable at first. However, I bent it a little to fit my wrist, and have gotten to where I love the band. It stays at the right size all the time. It is easy to put on and off myself. It is also pink and brown-my favorite colors. I just love this watch and am looking forward to it lasting years! The buttons are a little hard to push, but other than that I am completely satisfied.

(More customer reviews)I don't know what happened to Timex, the quality of their products has decreased over the past decade or so. In recent past, I've bought 3 different Timex sports watches for my wife, this being the latest. The color on the first on chipped off, looked terrible. The second watch's buttons actually cracked and then fell off, then the rubber around the watch face seperated. Finally, the watch band on this one seperated (it was glued on apparently) and is unwearable. I looked into sending them back, but Timex has a ridiculous return/repair policy, you need to pay shipping and handling of around 7 dollars and then there may also be a repair charge if they decide it was not a manufacturing defect. I sent an email inquiring as to the requirements for determining what type of damage was classified as manufacturing defect (I didn't want to pay extra to get another shotty watch), and it was never responded to. There's not a lot of options in women's sport watches, so I kept trying Timex thinking I got a lemon the previous try, but now I've decided that the quality just sucks. Stay away from anything Timex.

I like the easy functioning of the stop watch as well as the indigo feature since I use mine for an alarm clock while traveling. The only drawback I've experienced is that the colors don't hold up well in a chlorine pool; while it is waterproof, the colors turn a little green after being exposed to chlorine. I will not attempt to swim with it again.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a sporty, young-looking, low-profile, waterproof, unique digital watch. I only need it for day-to-day timekeeping and recreational swimming, so lap functions are not important to me. This watch was perfect for my needs--it's beautiful, fits my college style, keeps great time, and is waterproof (the instruction sheet is very specific about not pushing any buttons while the watch is in water). I've never had problems with condensation, water seepage, or anything malfunctioning, despite having worn it for recreational swimming in a chlorinated pool.
The watch, true to its name, is sleek. It's not bulky like other sports watches, and doesn't scream "Hardcore Runner!" which is great because I'm not one. On the other hand, it's also not tiny-dainty, which is good news for my bigger stature. The Indiglo-lit numbers are very bright and perfectly readable in low light. The default watch display shows time (with seconds), date (month and day), and day of the week. These are all easy to read at a glance.
The watch is truly dark purple and white, like in the picture, and feminine without being girly. I actually wear my watch with the face on the inside of my wrist because that's how my best friend in high school wore it--the band and clasp look good, and so far I haven't scratched the face.
Overall, I am very pleased with this watch!

It's very easy to program - very idiot proof. I also love the fact that it helps me with my running intervals so that I can run injury free using the Jeff Galloway method. That indiglo feature is very convenient to check the time when it's dark and the cell phone is out of reach. Oh, did I mention that it's so comfortable I wear it 24/7?
