(More customer reviews)We bought this as a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. She absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful watch, but it was a little too big. It does say that you can remove one or more links and it gives you instructions on how to do that, but it was so difficult to do that you have to take it to a jeweler or watch repair shop to remove the link(s). Not a big deal, but it was disappointing she had to wait to wear it. Overall, it's a great watch.

(More customer reviews)I'm an RN and bought this watch mainly for work purposes. It's stylish and simple, not overly flashy. Has a convenient second hand which is an essential for me. The size is perfect, as my wrists are really small and I hate huge watches. I'd say this face is about the size of a nickel. The weight is light, making it barely noticable while on but at the same time durable.
My only complaint is that I thought "self adjustable" links meant you can take links out yourself. Since my wrists are small, every watch I've owned I've had to take to a jeweler to get links taken out. I bought this watch mainly because of the bonus of self adjustable links. My husband was finally able to take 4 links out but only after getting a tiny, tiny screwdriver which was noted in the enclosed instructions. So don't expect these links to just pop in and out as I did. Other than that, a good value for the price.

The shape is very elegant and it looks expensive but now that i have been wearing it for 6 Months the links have fallen apart twice and a stone just fell out. I am tempted to get another just because I love the look of this watch but hesitate because of it's potential falling apart. Saying this I wear it everyday (I work in an office)so if you break it down into everyday use vs. price I guess it's not so bad.

However there is one flaw - the glass over the watch face is convex and prone to chipping and cracking. I've had the watch for about a year and a half and with normal wear I have two chips on the glass edge, and a big crack in the glass at the bottom.

This watch is unbelievably cute, and I adore Timex watches in this style - you can beat them to death and they keep going, great functionality, etc. However, within only a couple of weeks the pink rubber on this watch had noticeably started to turn yellow. I may call Timex about it, but I'm not sure I can find the paperwork...maybe I should buy another one to see how well it wears.
I'm going to keep this one and wear it out in the yard and whatever, but the yellowed tone will probably stop me from wearing it on any fashion-related occasions. ;)

(More customer reviews)I've only had this watch for 2 weeks now so I can't yet speak for its durability. However, functionally it's great. It is even smart enough that when I'm done with the timer, the mode toggle switch goes back to clock mode instead of cycling through all the other modes first. I also wanted the following features:
* Day, Date, AND Month without toggling buttons
* Indiglo
* No beeping when I toggled between modes
The only reason I give it 4 stars is that it's a little non-intuitive how to set the timer and alarm. But I'll get used to it.
Update: I've had this for awhile now and I see one thing I don't like about it. The actual watch works fine, but the strap seems to be deteriorating. It attracts dirt/dust and is now a totally different color than the face. Also, the hook that supposed to keep the end of the strap in place is not very useful. I have to re-insert the strap every couple of hours or so... very annoying. I hope I can replace the strap when the time comes.
