(More customer reviews)I own three Omegas, two Citizens and three Seikos, but the little Casio Forester is the watch that goes with me into harm's way. I work in very severe conditions--in the Middle East. You don't want to expose a fine mechanical or even quartz watch to daily dust baths and searing desert heat. The little Casio has held up through the worst of conditions, and still keeps time to within 15 seconds a month of the atomic clock in Colorado. It's highly water resistant, and so light you hardly know it's on your wrist. Amazon sells this watch under $20. How can you complain about a rugged, accurate watch for under $20? I usually wear an Omega when going "out on the town," but the Casio is my watch for the dust storms and being around things that could knock your expensive watch silly. My expensive watches will last much longer because I have sense enough not to wear them to work!

There's no flash, no digital, no leather band, nothing but a simple watch. For the price, you honestly cannot beat it. The only way it could get better is if either someone gave you the watch as a gift, or you won it in the "claw of luck" game in the supermarket entryway. That's the ONLY way it gets better than this... A true gem...

(More customer reviews)Bought this at the same time as a Casio Databank DB35H model. I like this AQW101 "fishing" watch better and will be using it. Just wish it had the 5 alarms like the databank models...
Pros:
1) Face is much easier to read than the DB35H.
2) The analog hands are nice to have. I find myself glacing at those and being able to read them quicker than the digital display at times.
3) The moon and temperature things are nice novelty items :-)
4) The buttons are easy to work with and so far, no problems with them getting hit by accident.
5) The overall style and finish are excellent, especially for the price.
6) The band is good quality (better than on the cheaper DB35H).
Cons:
None really, but if pressed:
1) Its a bit on the big side. Not a problem unless you're "small boned" - and even then, with the band, it conforms well to the wrist.
2) The temperature measurement is modified by your body heat (about +10F)
3) The analog hands sometime cover up the date/etc.
Sorry - no clue on the fishing prediction accuracy ! :-)

(More customer reviews)I purchased this watch at an outlet mall for a great price. I looked at a lot of sport watches before finding this one. It is a large, masculine looking watch but it is not over-sized or bulky like many of the watches that are in style now. The info states that the watch measures 42mm but it is closer to 44mm not including the crown, which when added would total 47mm. It has a rugged, durable feel and also looks great as a casual, everyday watch as well. What really sold me was the feel of the watch when I tried it on--it fit so nice and comfortable on my wrist. I have used it at the beach, fishing, in the pool and at water parks and it has held up great. For under $65, it would be hard to find a better watch with the same features and style.

I can't read much without my glasses, but hands and numbers are easily read without them, both in bright and dim light. The indiglo backlight works great in dark conditions. All this at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend the product.

When I obliterated my "Iron Man" recently I was once again in the market for a digital, but this time I wanted something that looked less like a runner's watch and more like a conventional watch with the functionality I needed.
I am happy to say, the Timex Men's Outdoor Performance Chrono Alarm Timer Expedition Watch #T48042 fit the bill perfectly. It is small, for those of us with small bone structure it will not overwhelm your wrist, and stylish, it has the functionality but also fits better than my previous digital watches in a business environment.
There is one great change from my earlier watches. For backpacking or any time you need to check the time at night the Indiglo button has been moved to the front and it is much easier to light up the watch face.
