(More customer reviews)I have found it hard to find watchbands in stores so I bought this one from amazon. It did not state in it's description that it is easily detachable. I guess it's so you can change your watchbands often. I did not want this. And the band did not stay "locked" so it fell off a few times. I did return the first one and amazon replaced it right away, but what I meant to do was to exchange it for a different one. What I ended up doing with the second one (since it wouldn't stay on either) is make a large enough opening and put in regular posts and now it stays attached to my watch. I'm using the posts from my old watchband. I love the way it looks though, and now the band does not come apart.

Timex Women's Q7B732 Calfskin 11mm Black Long Replacement Watchband Review

(More customer reviews)I really like this watchband especially for the price. I have had my watch for about 7 years now, and it has had the watch band replaced 3 times. The band it came with was almost the same as this one, but brown and a little more flimsy. It was then replaced with the band from an older watch I had, so I did not expect it to last long. Next I got one of these in a store, and it lasted at least 3 years if I remember correctly, wearing it almost every day before the band wore through at the buckle.
I really like the simple slender black band. It is practical and relatively attractive for every day wear.
The leather is quite stiff at first but softens with a little wear.
Before buying, please check that the size (11mm) is correct for your watch, or it will not work.

Timex Men's T77862 Expedition Digital Compass Watch Review

(More customer reviews)I have had this watch for over 3 years and all functions work fine.I did change the battery once a year ago, which is not easy to do without the right tiny tools. There is a spring clip which holds the battery in and must be released to remove the battery. Also, I have had trouble finding the CR1620 battery at local stores, but you can get it online. Last summer the watch suddenly reset itself to 1/1/00 several times for no apparent reason, but this has not happened again. I suspect the humidity got to it a bit. The compass is accurate and not hard to calibrate. If you like this watch, I suggest comparing it to the LaCrosse XG20 compass watch which is more stylish and perhaps more functional at about the same price.
