(More customer reviews)I have found it hard to find watchbands in stores so I bought this one from amazon. It did not state in it's description that it is easily detachable. I guess it's so you can change your watchbands often. I did not want this. And the band did not stay "locked" so it fell off a few times. I did return the first one and amazon replaced it right away, but what I meant to do was to exchange it for a different one. What I ended up doing with the second one (since it wouldn't stay on either) is make a large enough opening and put in regular posts and now it stays attached to my watch. I'm using the posts from my old watchband. I love the way it looks though, and now the band does not come apart.

(More customer reviews)The band arrived within a week after I placed the order - kudos for that. This watchband is thinner than the OEM watchband. This makes the watchband a little more flexible and allows it to stretch a little more than the OEM band. These attributes make the band a little more comfortable to wear. My OEM watchband eventually cracked at the adjustment hole where I always fastened the buckle. Hopefully, this new band will last longer (and not crack) because of the material it's made of and its increased flexibility. We'll have to wait and see.

(More customer reviews)I really like this watchband especially for the price. I have had my watch for about 7 years now, and it has had the watch band replaced 3 times. The band it came with was almost the same as this one, but brown and a little more flimsy. It was then replaced with the band from an older watch I had, so I did not expect it to last long. Next I got one of these in a store, and it lasted at least 3 years if I remember correctly, wearing it almost every day before the band wore through at the buckle.
I really like the simple slender black band. It is practical and relatively attractive for every day wear.
The leather is quite stiff at first but softens with a little wear.
Before buying, please check that the size (11mm) is correct for your watch, or it will not work.

Voguestrap TX16G14 Allstrap 16mm Black Regular-Length Fits Casio G-Shock and Tri-Graph Watchband Review

(More customer reviews)The description that this watch band fits Casio G-Shock is incorrect. I purchased this item to replace the original 16-mm band of a Casio G-Shock Model DW-5600E (The Classic). The Timex TX16G14 does not properly fit this watch. The 16-mm width is correct but the recesses molded into the band where it inserts into the body of the watch (at the spring bars) are not large enough to properly seat the band. The spring bars can be forced into place but the watch band then rigidly sticks out on both sides of the watch in the same plane as the watch body, and doesn't wrap snugly around the wrist (i.e., there is a large gap between the band and one's wrist on either side of the watch body). Subsequent research on other websites show that the various G-Shock watches have specific fitments for the 16- and 18-mm bands. I recommend identifying the Casio model number for the band that properly fits your watch and order the original factory band (which is more expensive) instead of this generic ill-fitting item. I did so and the new replacement band (with Casio factory replacement band number 71601288) fits perfectly.

I am not sure if I would buy again or pay a dollar more or 2 for one with a metal hook. I will have to see how long this one lasts.

This timex watch strap well-made and comfortable and will work with watches that use the old-style resin watch straps. The cost of shipping is also very reasonable (as of this writing). I have been very happy with it and I would definitely recommend it if it's the right kind of replacement watch strap for your sports watch.

It did not fit on my newer model pink and gray Timex Women's T5K020 30-Lap Ironman Triathlon Resin that is still offered for sale by Timex. I just happened to have an older orange and black women's Ironman, looked and it appeared to fit it, but unfortunately, the watch didn't work anymore so it couldn't be used. So if you have the older orange and black Ironman watch, here's you a watchband. Otherwise, don't waste your time. I have looked all over online and can't find a replacement band for the pink and gray Ironman watch. It is not made like a regular watch but is raised where it attaches to the watch which means the band will need to be thicker at the attachment and this one is not. My pink watch seems to still be popular and I don't understand why Timex doesn't offer a replacement band, but I can't find one.
This one has ORANGE next to the band. My old band had PINK.
