(More customer reviews)I bought this watch off Amazon because I wanted a nice looking watch and didn't currently have one. I got it when it was still selling for $59.99 Some things people might want to know before they purchase.
At 44x13mm this watch certainly has a good amount of heft to it. It's not a problem for me but if you don't want a large watch then look elsewhere.
This watch is very classy looking and I am very satisfied with it's appearance.
It comes with plenty of links for your sizing pleasure.
Yes as some reviewers noted, the instructions are 1 page and are just mostly just illustrations showing you how to use the functions of this watch. This also is not a problem for me because this is not a complex watch and the illustrations show you everything you need to know.
The reason I give this watch 4 stars instead of 5 has to do with the bezel that other reviewers have touched upon. I spent several minutes playing with it and here is the deal: Once you take the little plastic sheet off the face the bezel can rotate counter clockwise in clicks all the way around the face. The problem is that it is mis-alligned. The whole thing is off by half a click. It's not really noticeable unless you are really looking for it and I probably wouldn't have noticed it if the other reviewers hadn't noticed it, but I wanted the triangle on the bezel to be at the 12 o clock position and it is between 2 clicks. And yes the bezel has some play to it as others have noted.
I'm still keeping the watch because it's hardly noticeable and I like the everything else about the watch. Overall I encourage people to look at this as a $60-$70 watch not a $400+ watch and it is a good value.

Invicta Men's 8926 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Watch Review

(More customer reviews)I am very impressed with Invicta style and quality. They offer well-made watches at a very competitive price. I own seven Invicta watches and love each of them. They have the look and feel of a much more expensive watch.
This particular model looks almost identical to a Rolex Submariner. It is an automatic watch (if you don't wear it for around 24 hours or move around enough, the time must be reset) with 21 jewel Japanese movement and has a see through back that lets you view the automatic movement. The watch has a large 43mm face and it has Mercedes style hands and Tritnite luminescence markings with a magnified date marker. It is water resistant to 200 meters (just in case any of you will go down that far).
The one pictured above has an oyster-like bezel (Omega style). The older (Series 1 or S1) model of the 8926 have a coin edge bezel like the Rolex Submariner. The bezel rotates. Invicta makes really attractive bands that have a nice weight. The stainless steel silver band and black face combination is very sharp and will never go out of style. I have an 8.5" wrist and the watch accommodates my wrist with room to spare. They come in the trademark yellow Invicta box with an Invicta pillow.
The 9937 is an upgraded model of this watch that offers 25 jewel Swiss movement instead of the Japanese 21 jewel movement, a sapphire crystal, an improved stainless steel band (even though the one on the 8926 is great), solid end pieces, a better magnifier over the date, a flip lock safety clasp and a large rosewood box instead of the yellow box that comes with this 8926.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Acqua by Timex Men's 2-Tone Expansion Watch, A0A651 Review

(More customer reviews)My girl friend got me this watch about 10 years ago. Mine was not a expansion band so I had to put a bigger one on. The watch all in all held up pretty good. I decided to just get a new watch now that the battery has died but it lasted 10 years. My watch witch is just silver and not 2 tone I would give 4 stars. The Acqua watch is made by Timex and they use a lot of silver brass for the case. After about 8 years around the bottom by the battery case started to oxidize. The indiglo just now went out and the watch started to lose time so it is the battery. If you can find this watch in just silver tone I would highly recommend it. I wore it every day swimming, working on cars and trucks, the lens held up only about 4 small scratches over the years. Also mine had a black face and the indiglo was still nice so in white it would be bright. I just don't know about how good the 2 tone color would hold up.

I recommend that you think of this watch as having an analog display with the capability to displaying digital information in the background.In most cases, the background digital information is hard to read unless you hit the illuminate button. This is great for me because it gives the watch a classic analog look while having all of the capabilities of a digital watch when I need it (which is relatively rare - I generally just need to know what time it is). The watch is full of features. I can confirm that the thermometer does not give accurate readings when you are wearing the watch.
As a final note, I could not find any instructions in the manual on how to adjust the band. [...] You need to follow the instructions for the "Leaf Spring Coupled Type," which is very easy once you see how it is supposed to be done.

(More customer reviews)Purchasing the #8932 Invicta dive watch for a family member Christmas present - I've come away very much impressed. The 8932 apparently shares the case, crystal mineral glass watchface, screwdown crown and elegent lightweight stainless steel bracelet with it's more expensive automatic movement 8926 sibling. Matter of factly - it is hard to tell the difference between this watch and Invicta's $300+ 9937 Swiss ETA powered automatic diver without close inspection.
It is my humble opinion that Invicta is the leader of the affordable price dive watch market - including such giants as Seiko and Citizen - OK maybe even Casio. Invicta does not have the brand name awareness of the public and large commercial outlets to display their wonderful dive watches. Once you've purchased an Invicta Pro-Diver series watch - you will be a fan. The fit, finish, overall quality and design make this watch a model you should consider as a price range leader.
Case: The 316L brushed stainless steel case at 40mm (43mm with crown) once considered a large watch - is now an "average" size for dive watches. The stainless steel watchback might be annoying for those with nickel metal skin allergies - the mineral glass display or "exhibition" watch backs of the 8926 and 9937 being preferred by many divers. Mineral glass is not as scratch resistant as sapphire crystal as found in the 9937 - which can only be imprinted by diamond - but is "good enough" for average wear and certainly keeps the watch very affordable. A date "cyclops" or window is found at the 3 o'clock position. The watch is rated and tested to 200m (660 ft) - that which qualifies it as a "Professional Diver".
Bezel: The black bezel is a very scratch resistant, uni-directional (120 clicks to the hour) scalloped edge (like the Omega Seamaster) diving tool. A "coin edge" (like the Rolex Submariner) bezel is preferred by many divers - being less slippery to manipulate when wet.
Bracelet: Invicta's ss bracelet - with polished center links - is an industry standard - best compared to a Rolex Oyster bracelet for the Submariner series. It utilizes a foldover deployment clasp without a wetsuit deployment clasp as found on more expensive dive watch bracelets. Held together by pins - it is important to throughly rinse the bracelet after immersion in salt water.
Movement: The 8932 uses a quartz "asian" sourced movement. These will normally keep time +/- 15 second per week and are actually much more accurate than the more expensive Invicta 8926 Citizen/Miyota 8215 - 21 jewel automatic movements that can be a minute or more off each week. The 9937 uses a Swiss ETA 2824-2 25 jewel automatic movement reflected in it's $300+ price tag...Watch battery life varies as per movement source and battery quality. Most batteries should last 3-5 years according to Invicta users I know.
Conclusion: I am a big fan of Invicta dive watches. For the money, Invicta Pro-Diver series watches are an industry leader. Sourced among many different asian assemblers - the fit, finish and quality may vary somewhat from batch to batch - but the overall reputation among watch collectors of the Invicta Pro-Diver series is very high!
Why not 5 stars? My personal preferences are automatic movement watches - not quartz. The stainless steel back can irritate the skin of allergic individuals. Mineral glass crystal - used to hold the price - is prone to scuffing and minor scratching. Sapphire is too expensive for this category of watch. As a diver - I prefer a "sawtooth" or "coin" edged bezel to the scalloped bezel currently offered by Invicta. The bracelet offers no wetsuit deployment clasp - a feature absent in all Invicta divers thru the 9937 series. Some or none of these should prevent you from considering this watch or it's 8926 fraternal twin as your next dive watch.
Amazon and it's sellers do a good job to deliver the Invicta goods. All models come with a one year warranty - Invicta offering a 5 year warranty extension for a modest fee. (More customer reviews)Great watch with many great features. I love the size of the digital layout and the metal band is durable. To resize the band, push out the pins from the side that looks like screws.
Pros: Accurate, good looking, multiple alarms, timer, and stop-watch.
Cons: Metal band latch sometimes deforms, making it hard to latch. You have to bend it a certain way to make it work. The analog hands sometimes get out of sync with the digital time. You can fix that easily, but annoying sometimes. Lastly, at night you can't use the watch features. There is a light, but it occupies a button used for setting alarms and such. So if you are setting your alarm, you can't see the display. Timex has a night feature that, once enabled, turns the light on with every button press. My former watch had it and it was a very handy feature.
Great for the price.

(More customer reviews)I like a watch with analog hands, but with digital features. Since they are hard to find these days, I ordered this one.
The good:
The LCD portion of the watch is very easy to read.
The watch seems accurate so far.
The analog portion of the watch is controlled by the digital, so it should stay as accurate as the digital portion. (The minute hand clicks 1/3 of a minute every 20 seconds.)
The bad:
The digital portion of the watch has so many features that it is difficult to use. Do I really need three alarms? The watch can store 30 phone numbers in it. Ten years ago that could have been useful, but now I store all my numbers in my cell phone. To make use of all these features, I'd need to carry around the instruction manual (which is 100 pages long, if you include the English, Spanish, and warrantee--although the pages are small).
The watch has no second hand. Sometimes I like to use one to time short things. Yes, there is a built in stop watch, but it is as hard to use as all the other digital features. (But my guess is the lack of a second hand will extend battery life.)
The band grabbed the hair on my arm. I had to go out and buy a twist-o-flex.
There is no stem to set the analog portion of the watch. Instead, you go into handsetting mode in the digital portion, and push a button and wait for the hands to move forward to the correct time. To set the hands forward 11 hours to go off of DST took several minutes.
The watch has a DST setting. It sets the digital portion of the watch ahead an hour. But it doesn't automatically go back after DST ends. So you still need to adjust the watch. It's not much easier than just resetting the time. And it doesn't affect the analog hands.
The watch has a world time feature. You can quickly find out the time in Bangkok. But don't expect to use this on your vacation to keep track of the local time. Press any button and you will return to your local time.
The ugly:
The analog hands are hard to read. They are a light color on a white background.
There is too much writing on the watch. Not only is it ugly, but it is easy to confuse the "10 YEAR BATTERY" label next to the 3 for a minute hand.
There is a backlight for the analog portion at the push of a button. But it doesn't give quite enough light, and it goes out after a second even if you leave the button pushed in. There is no backlight for the digital portion.

2. Case of watch is not completely stainless steel, lower part is resin. In my last casio the resin clasp for the watch band broke. I bought this because I thought it would be stainless steel, but its not really.
3. The mineral dial cover is convex, so it will pick up scratches (like my last casio). I prefer flat watches
4. The watch is thick (say 3/60")

Timex Men's T2D921 Steel Automatic Watch Review

(More customer reviews)The Timex Automatic is quite the watch. It's my sixth Timex and by far my favorite. It's sleek, sturdy, and honestly looks like a $300+ watch. The perpetual motion makes the second hand move smoothly around the face of the watch - very attractive. I've always had problems with unintentionally knocking the crown out of the locked position on other watches, causing time to stop. But with the Automatic, the crown is designed to screw down after setting the time and date. I've only had the watch for two days, but the power reserve hasn't moved from the "high" position yet. It's a really nice looking watch - Great purchase!!

(More customer reviews)I've owned this watch for about 6 years. It keeps perfect time, but was returned to Timex once for warranty repair (the Indiglo would not turn on). This feature has again failed this year and the crystal now is showing condensation; I still use the watch daily except when hunting /fishing (can't read before sunrise!).
It is cheaper and more convenient to buy a new one then send to Timex again. Besides Amazon has it for less than half of what I paid at a local retailer!
Hey, maybe I'm tough on watches, but I'm sold on Timex value. It truly "takes a licking and keeps on ticking".

It is a large, masculine looking watch but it is not over-sized or bulky like many of the watches that are in style now. The info states that the watch measures 42mm but it is closer to 44mm not including the crown, which when added would total 47mm. It has a rugged, durable feel and also looks great as a casual, everyday watch as well. What really sold me was the feel of the watch when I tried it on--it fit so nice and comfortable on my wrist. I have used it at the beach, fishing, in the pool and at water parks and it has held up great. For under $65, it would be hard to find a better watch with the same features and style.

(More customer reviews)Just purchased the watch something I had been waiting on for over a year. This seems to be the only relatively affordable analog watch with an altimeter. I am sure that there are other analog altimeter watches but very expensive. Casio Pathfinder is an all digital watch and I have something against digital watches. When this came along in June this year I was elated but waited for the price to drop somewhat. Some folks would say that this watch is huge and that it is. It weighs a ton but I like heavier watches. If someone has a small wrist, I would not recommend this watch for them. The setting up and calibration of the watch takes a bit getting used to but its fairly straightforward. I wish that Timex would come up with a watch combining a compass and altimeter in one!! Well done in creating an awesome timepiece!!
