I discovered why when I looked at the label, on the bottom of the clear plastic oval form that the watch was on, inside the box. The label clearly said men's. The online description stated unisex, but I don't agree and neither did the accompanying label. I am not a girly-girl and chose this sportier looking watch for that reason, yet this may not be right for those that want something for a woman that is not too dainty but definitely not manly.

Draw backs.... the light gray leather band got dirty quickly (but I'm a cowgirl too), the # where the date is located on the face cld have been a bit bigger and I don't have problems w/ my eyes! The actual face of the watch was bigger than what I anticipated; first time I put it on I felt as tho I had on a man's watch. But I do like the blue look when I wasn't sure if I would. Almost forgot, I like the fact the bands of the watch are screwed on rather than w/ those springs....most likely will last much longer.

The only thing I have to accept is the imbalance size. The watch is inbetween guys and girls' wrist size. If you don't have small wrists, it is very match with you. Although it seems too big for me, I never get bore of using it everyday.

Timex Men's T Series watch #T2M705 Review

(More customer reviews)I've been buying expensive watches for awhile and haven't had much luck. My supposedly indestructible Suunto Vector died after about five or six years. My father only buys Timex so I figured I'd give it a try. The watch arrived today and, so far so good. It feels sturdy, everything works, I got it a little wet with no adverse effects. Only time will tell, but the price couldn't be beat. I was a little nervous about ordering from this place (Jomashop) since I didn't know anything about them and some of the reviews were a little sketchy. Plus, I really wanted this particular T-series chronograph (given in the picture) since it's an anniversary edition (has the date of the founding of Timex - 1854! - inscribed on the back). But the watch arrived sooner than I expected, was in excellent condition (i.e. it wasn't someone trying to sell a "used" watch as new), and was exactly what I ordered. Even if the watch dies, I only paid $61 for it (list price is $150 at [...]) and shipping was cheap and professional (why don't more companies use the Postal Service? Their shipping is better and cheaper than UPS and FedEx). Plus, I can't complain about Jomashop even if the watch dies. I got what I ordered and I got it quickly.

(More customer reviews)The Timex Expedition is a great watch. I love the finishing and the choice of colors. What makes this watch ideal is that you can wear it for sport or recreation activities as well as for when you go to the office.
My only problem with it so far is the weight. The massive metal case makes it a bit heavy, but if you have thick wrists then it shouldn't be a problem.
One thing that I've found out after purchasing is that the leather band is water proof too! This missing bit of info made me reluctant when I had to purchase the watch, as I love water sports and often go to the pool.
Overall I find it a great product and very affordable for the quality it presents. I highly recommend it as a gift as well as a personal purchase.

(More customer reviews)this was a wonderful watch, really my all-time favorite, except for one irredeemable feature. The attractive leather band which wraps around the post cannot be replaced. Naturally, the leather at the attachment area, wore thin and eventually broke. Since it is not attached by the usual pin method, it cannot be replaced by any normal band and I have thoroughly checked the watch-band websites for a replacement Timex band, at any price, and there is nothing available. So, into the trash.

(More customer reviews)I really like this watch. Looks even better in person than in pictures. Very rugged, masculine look and feel, definitely a guy's watch.
I'm not impressed by brand names like Tag Heuer, Omega, etc. I just don't care about image. To me, this watch looks as good as any, and it's dead accurate. The alarm and chronograph couldn't be easier to use, and I've always liked Indiglo.
I delayed buying because I wasn't sure about the resin watchband. But, it's very comfortable and looks much better than I anticipated. When it wears out (I've heard that that they dry out and crack, much like an old tire), I'll probably go with a leather band at that point.
As usual, a high-quality watch from Timex.

(More customer reviews)This Timex watch has a mid-size bezel, which means it is extremely comfortable to wear and once on the wrist you will forget you have it on. For ladies with a larger wrist the strap is plenty long, very comfortable, and it does not pinch.
The time read out is extremely clear and easy to read, especially for a night shift RN, and the alarm is wonderfully simple to program, not only for me, but also for my 14-year-old daughter, both of us are ADD. I LOVE the soft blue indiglo back light, which is not harsh on the eyes at night.
The BEST feature is the water resistance up to 165 feet. I come home from work, get into the shower, and never worry about whether or not I am wearing the watch. I also love the new colors. This one is a cool muted, ocean blue. There are many other colors available.
Ironically, I might not have tried this watch had I not been surfing late one night and accidentally ordered this watch in my sleep. I had my one-click set up and must have dozed off and hit the button with my mouse. I even ordered it over night shipping and I hardly do that for anything I REALLY want for myself! (laughing)

The Timex Expedition is easy to read, good looking, and the face lights up when you press the stem, perfect for night use. The band has eight holes, enough to accomodate a very small wrist. Amazon's price was 25% less than I found in a nearby "walk-in" store. I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

(More customer reviews)So far I am happy with this watch. Note that this particular model is gray/pink, rather than black/pink. The numbers are large and easy to read, though as a consequence the watch face is rather large. I use the chronometer frequently when running. The lap/split button is large and easy to access. It is easy to review the split times afterwards. When setting the watch, you can go forward or backward, which saves time for small backward adjustments. If you don't use all of the features (all three alarms, etc.), you change the settings so that they don't appear when you cycle through the functions with the mode button. Reading the manual will save time in learning how to use the various features, but most are fairly intuitive. The band is comfortable. I cannot speak to the longevity or water resistance of this watch.
