I was looking for the same kind of watch and strap every were but I could not find one like mine. I found this watch in Amazon.com it looks like my blue watch, the color is different but the strap and watch is the same kind than my old one.
I thought maybe the color won't be the best, but I was wrong.
This watch is very special, the color is beautiful,I like the leaf's design inside the watch. It is a casual and sport watch in the same time. This watch is for everybody who loves nature, I am very happy with this one :)

(More customer reviews)I like this one better than my Lumivox Seal watch, and much better than my Invicta automatic wind: it keeps good time; the bezel is functional (which I use frequently); it has radium illumination as well as Indiglo; the band is classy as is the watch. It goes from field to boardroom and work with smoothness and taste. I've had several Timexes in my life, including Expeditions, but THIS one is a KEEPER. I am just really pleased with it. I'm an outdoorsman as well as a professional, and this one fits EVERYWHERE. It's a good value.

Timex Men's T46171 Expedition Metal Field Analog Brown Leather Strap Watch Review

(More customer reviews)THis watch closely resembles the Expedition #T40051, with some alterations to the face, such as the placement of the Date window, but is very sturdy and reliable and the band is a joy.
Here in the heat of the desert those cheap resin bands (casio style etc.) get filled with my own slough and I hate such reminders of my own mortality. Those rubbery bands just do not breathe, and so I appreciate very much these thick (won't tear when caught on fencing, etc.) real leather bands. The crystal is also thick and can resist falling rocks and such, and the overall feel is very high quality and durable.
My only gripe is that I received it at the end of the month and tried to advance the date window from three to thirty and think I wore out the stem. SO if you get one, activate it by pulling out the little plastic tab on the date the window reads, or forget the window altogether, which is what everyone does anyway, as it is too small to read in any watch.
I love the traditional clock face, with the handy backlight, which makes the time very visible at night outside or in bed or at vigils long before dawn.
And of course, the Irish green is the only way to go!
Very comfortable and rugged and solid. A good watch.

(More customer reviews)I had a previous Timex Expedition watch which I loved tremendously, but its strap was getting worn out and I couldn't find a similar replacement, short of buying an identical model, so I decided to get this instead. From the photos provided on Amazon, the watch seemed pretty unique, what with the brownish tint to the stainless steel cover, and its green interface. It's a darn cool watch in my opinion. The watch arrived as shown in the photo, I was a bit worried about the cover as photos of the same model on other sites showed a normal stainless steel cover, but that wasn't truly the case. I guess it was most probably the angle of the light hitting the watch when the photo was taken. From some angles it looked like normal steel, but from others, the brownish tint is fairly evident. My girlfriend was pretty impressed with the watch, especially with its price too. Not to mention the Indiglo feature, it really lit up the screen in total darkness.
The brown strap is one of the most comfortable leather straps I've tried on. I don't usually go for leather straps as they can often be hard and too rigid for my liking, but that's definitely not the case with this model. The strap is soft and mallable, fitting my small-sized wrist perfectly. The watch diameter is just perfect, large enough but not ostentious. The ticking of the watch was regular and not too loud, some Timex models have pretty loud ticking, but not this watch. All in all, I would recommend giving this watch a go if you're looking for something different!

My only real complaint is that to change the date you have to wind it round and round for 24 times to move one day. It dosnt have the feature where you can change the date by itself. So the winding is annoying but you only have to do it once a month.

The photo appears to be a brighter forrest or hunter green which draws more attention to the eye than the actual muted olive color. So far, the performance has been very good. The test will be enduring the natural acidity of my skin. I expect to replace the band with a high performance synthetic rubber. The appearance and scale is distinctive and respectable. At a glance, the number reading and minute increments are clearly readable. While I am choosy and hard to honestly please about certain things; function, utility, aesthetics, value and such, I am finding that this watch has fulfilled my requirements in a time piece.

I was worried that the strap would look too thin compared to the relatively large face, but that's not the case- I think that the picture makes the watch look more out of balance than it actually is; I really like the way it looks in person, and I wasn't completely sure that I would.

Naturally, the leather at the attachment area, wore thin and eventually broke. Since it is not attached by the usual pin method, it cannot be replaced by any normal band and I have thoroughly checked the watch-band websites for a replacement Timex band, at any price, and there is nothing available. So, into the trash.
