However, the watch comes with instructions on how to remove links, and I was able to do it myself with a small-tined fork and some elbow grease. I removed two links from each side of the band and now my watch fits perfectly.

It was a women's style, but it was larger than I thought it would be. I had to first take it to have some of the links removed, but I was amazed at how light it was when I had it on. I love the easy to read face and the indigo feature is a must for any watch you own. I wear it everyday and I love it. It arrived with a brand new battery and the stem was pulled out so you knew the battery was new. I recommend this watch.

It was small for my friend too, so we're waiting for a friend with a smaller wrist to give it to. I haven't had the best of luck with Timex warranty; they want you to send in the watch at your expense when there is a factory defect. This is why I gave it three stars instead of four. It is very pretty.

The band is a very dark leather color - it could sometimes pass for a deep brown OR black so it matches with all clothing. I have very small wrists and usually have to make extra holes in my watch bands...not this one though - there are 8 holes and I am right in the middle - with 3 holes left to go to make it bigger. I think this band would fit up to a 7 inch wrist. I am very pleased with this product.

(More customer reviews)First, having very poor sight, I really appreciate Timex' easy reader watches, which can be read without being huge. I had my last one for about 10 years, and am only replacing it because the finish has faded, (and it needs a battery).
This watch has a perfect face, for me. While I can't read the date, it's nice to know it's there, and it's good looking. Even my husband, who notices nothing, commented on how nice the watch is. (Boy, was I surprised!) Now for the beastly part. The band scratches and leaves marks on my wrist. Now, my wrist is NOT huge, it's 6 1/4". The band isn't stretched at all when it's on. Timex did something very smart when they made bands that are easily adjustable. Unfortunately that left them with a rough finish. I'm thinking of exchanging it for a different band on a similar face.
All that being said, it's kept perfect time for the two days I've had it.

I wear my watch all day, everywhere but in the shower and I appreciate how easy the expansion band allows me to remove and replace my watch. The face has a pretty pearlized look and the crystals above and below the face make it look dressy. My only complaint is that the pearlized surface on the face creates lines from the center outward. Too frequently, it is difficult to distinguish the line caused by the face from the hand of the watch. I have to pick up the face and move it about in the light to read it which is rather a pain. In fact I gave up on it as my regular every day watch for that reason and only wear it when I need a fancy look.

(More customer reviews)I recently purchased this watch and have had some problems with it. The good thing is that it looks great. It's a good watch for professionals who don't want multiple watches and want to be able to wear to any kind of function. It does a good job of that. Plus it doesn't look too bulky, which to me was crucial because I have very small wrists. However, my indiglo gave out on me last week after only having my watch for 6 weeks. Luckily, Timex sent me a pre-paid box to send it back to the factory. The warranty lasts for a year too. The only problem I face now will be getting Timex to either take out the extra links or reimburse me for having to get someone else to do it for me. Hopefully mine was just a fluke.
