It holds up the the abuse of a 3 yr old and he never gets tired of wearing it. The face of the watch is great. Big enough numbers for him to read and the little car is adorable. Would recommend this product.

The Timex T78061 Youth digital watch is reliable, durable, and readable in the dark, thanks to the integrated Indiglo night-light, but it's also flat-out fun to wear. It features an easily readable digital display with large, recognizable icons for the chrono, alarm, and timer functions, and a comfortable elastic fabric strap (for better dirt and stain resistance) with a rocket ship against a black base. This watch also offers water resistance to 30 meters (99 feet), 12/24-hour time, durable translucent blue resin case, large function buttons, and Timex's unique Kids Loss Protection Plan. It's recommended for children ages 6 and older.
The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer. The Night Mode feature allows you to illuminate the Indiglo night-light for 3 seconds with any button press, regardless of the mode or function.
Timex understands that kids often lose things, even their most prized possessions, which is why this watch is covered by the Timex Kids Loss Protection Plan. (More customer reviews)I have had this watch for several years now. I am a very active grown women. This watch is perfect for a small wrist-ed (about 6") women. I have only changed the battery once. I have swum in the Gulf of Mexico, did 30ft+ drops into the bayou with it, gardening, hiking, camping, etc. It's very tough, and the band has held up wonderfully, only starting to show its age this last year. Recently it has begun losing minutes every night. After searching the stores and online for a replacement watch I was sooo happy to be able to find the same watch on Amazon. It's definitely not just for kids!

(More customer reviews)This is a a very attractive watch which is definitely a plus. Also, the watch is relatively easy to use. However there a few drawbacks. For example, after thirty minutes, the watch no longer records seconds, only minutes. This unfortunately makes this watch futile unless you are a beginner and are not too concerned with precision. I wouldn't recommend this watch for a serious or experienced runner. ( I am a sprinter that has taken up cross country thus i found this watch served its purpose considering I was running cross country to improve in sprinting events). Another major drawback is the lack of directions with the watch. I mean I understand the watch is only twenty bucks but can I get some fricking directions????!!!

The watch itself is very small in size and perfect for young children. This is smaller than a woman's size watch. The watch is very simple but the different colored hands and the minutes listed above the numbers make these very easy to teach kids how to tell time. I highly recommend this watch for young children.

He has not taken it off his arm since, and it has gone through a lot, but is still working. I enjoy the wrist band because it stretches over the hand, instead of "buckling" it on the wrist, which can be challenging for children.
